EPIC Behavioral Healthcare has sponsored Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Johns County (BBBS) since 1994. Mentoring is an evidence-based practice that helps prevent alcohol and drug use among children. We work with BBBS to support our community’s needs.
BBBS serves children in two ways:
Community-Based Program: Matches adults with children ages 6-12 for activities in the community.
Site-Based Program: This program pairs volunteers with children ages 6-12 for support at local schools and after-school programs.
Our professional staff provides guidance from inquiry through enrollment and throughout the match. You can expect professional training, 24-hour emergency support, and volunteer recognition while positively impacting a child’s life.
If you want to enroll your child or become a Big Brother or a Big Sister,
visit the BBBs website or call (904) 829-9986.
