Criminal justice programs often struggle to help individuals with mental health or substance use issues, as traditional punishment methods fail to address the root causes of offenses. EPIC offers a supportive approach through counseling, medication-assisted treatment, and support groups during sentencing and rehabilitation. This not only helps individuals heal and thrive but also reduces recidivism, enhances public safety, and eases the burden on the criminal justice system.
