Parenting is not an easy job for anyone. EPIC offers free parenting programs that provide support, information and education for parents/guardians. A trained and motivated parent is the best means to prevent children form engaging in dangerous behaviors such as drug and alcohol use. Programs include:
Provides parents with the knowledge and skills needed to assist them in keeping their kids from getting involved with alcohol or other drugs.
Reduces family conflict and child behavior problems by improving parenting skills, enhancing family communication and increasing supervision and discipline. Two levels: one for parents of young children and one for parents of adolescents.
For families of adolescents who have referred for the illegal use of drugs or alcohol. The program works with families to educate on the negative consequences of drug or alcohol use.
