EPIC Recovery Center – Recovery Starts Here
Substance abuse is a disease that affects millions of Americans, not only the individual with the addiction, but their loved ones as well. If you or someone you know is suffering from drug and/or alcohol addiction there is no need for you to go through this alone. EPIC Recovery Center will provide you with the tools you need
to achieve and maintain a more peaceful and productive life.
Addiction is defined as the continued repetition of a behavior despite adverse consequences; however this need not define you. Recovery from addiction and substance abuse is possible once individuals address the emotional and physical challenges that face them. The team of professionals at EPIC Recovery Center share a common goal to help individuals attain stable, long-term sobriety.
The EPIC Recovery Center program is 3-tiered, offering Detoxification, Residential, and Outpatient treatment services.
Phase 1: Detoxification
Detoxification is the first step in your journey to recovery. The detox process is typically 5-7 days and consists of three essential components: evaluation, stabilization, and fostering a person’s readiness for entry into substance abuse treatment. Upon admission to the EPIC Recovery Center, patients will receive a medically-supervised detox ridding your body of alcohol and/or drugs. Treatment is medically driven by our team of physicians and nurses. All patients receive access to medical care, professional counseling, 12-step group meetings, and Recovery focused classes.
Phase 2: Residential
Residential is often the 2nd phase of treatment, especially for those who have no access to a supportive environment or home and are particularly prone to relapse. No detox medications are used in residential treatment, and a patient’s stay is typically 30 days. This transitional level of care focuses on extensive relapse prevention therapy, addresses unresolved issues, and offers a safe and secure environment to learn and practice recovery skills.
Family and/or support structures are also encouraged to come in to assist in the recovery and help build a more supportive social structure outside of treatment. Patients will receive individual therapy, and are taken outside the center to recovery-focused meetings in the community.
Phase 3: Outpatient
Outpatient may be the 2nd or 3rd phase of treatment depending on the risk of relapse and access to social support. Patients that enter outpatient treatment must come from our detox or residential treatment programs. Outpatient does not confine the individual to our center for supervised care, and is focused on helping clients integrate a recovery program into their daily lives. We offer weekly services for individuals and families including individual/family counseling sessions, relapse prevention programs, family education and support, and aftercare support groups. Outpatient treatment is the first step in taking your recovery outside of our center and into your daily life.
We base treatment plans on individual needs and accept patients who are at risk for physical withdrawal. Withdrawal is treated using medication in conjunction with individual and group therapy. Overcoming addiction can be an intensive and long endeavor. We will be there for you throughout this journey by providing compassion, support and healing.
